We will discuss basic safety protocols and tips for sentencing advocates, mitigation specialists, and Investigators while working in the field. Topics will include: what to do in preparation for the outing; how to travel to and from the location; and how to handle concerns on the street and at the location. Participants will leave better able to identify safety concerns that could be improved upon, will have a better understanding of safety awareness and protocols, and will feel more empowered and confident when working in the field.
